About the Role

We’re seeking a qualified Sales and Business Development professional to find and screen potential customers who can benefit from our products and services. As the first line of communication with prospects, ideal SDRs have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting our sales closers up for success. Our ideal candidate will be trusted to dive right in, take the lead, use initiative, and help build billion-dollar brands that help make everyday activities easier for people around the world. Highly skilled at sales and business operations, this person will join and inspire a team of like-minded go-getters to achieve our company vision.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively seek, identify, and research new business opportunities in the market
  • Generate leads, build relationships by nurturing prospects, and generate new sales
  • Managing both our existing sales pipeline and developing new business opportunities
  • Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships
  • Identify trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets
  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing and lead generation strategies that achieve strategic goals
  • Provide leadership with insight as you monitor and evaluate industry trends
  • Provide leadership with insight as you discover customers’ business needs and drivers
  • Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources
  • Generate new leads, identify, and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select the deals in line with strategies, and lead and facilitate pitch logistics
  • Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company
  • Support deal structure and pricing with business value analysis; negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals
  • Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations
  • Develop and maintain client relationships
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders
  • Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives
  • Represent our company’s products and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding and leading to consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needs
  • Identify best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook
  • Identify prospect’s needs and suggest appropriate products/services

Candidate Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of sales experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or management (or relevant business experience)
  • Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working experience with sales techniques, strategies, and lead generation
  • Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Expert level in Microsoft Office applications, including Project and Excel
  • Superior presentation skills at the executive level
  • Superb written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer excellence

Location & Commitments

This role is 100% fully remote, flexible hours (negotiable) and is a customer-facing role. Candidate needs to be willing to travel should it be necessary.

Compensation Guidelines

Salary range $50K-$65K (pending experience).
